About the project

Humbria²O

This new project, realized with the contribution of the Umbria Region, is the result of the commitment of 8 cities (Foligno, Assisi, Valtopina, Todi, Baschi, Montecchio, Alviano, Avigliano Umbro, with the support of Acquasparta) and 14 museums, which have created an extraordinary model of collaboration, a network between public institutions and private subjects at the service of Culture.

Culture does not stop

The project wants to be a concrete sign of technological innovation and change, aiming at improving the cultural development policy of the participating territories, thanks to a network united by common themes: in this way the project can have a real economic and social impact.

Water

The idea from which the project was created is H²O, that is water. Life was born from water, and Umbria wants to start again from water, as a fundamental element of the complex history that unites the Territories involved in the project.

Guided tours

A programme of 260 online guided tours to the 14 museums of Humbria²O. Accessible in webinar mode, all activities have a similar schedule and always something in common: water. Enter the digital story of our heritage, told by our expert educational operators: a video presentation and a kit will be useful for teachers in class or online, to prepare the visit or for a feedback.
