Montecchio

The charming village of Montecchio, one of the most beautiful in Italy, is guardian of its ancient architectural medieval features, the Castrum Monticulis mentioned in written documents of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Today, it still boasts a primitive and spectacular aspect made of enchanting views, a maze of alleys and narrow streets that climb between the ancient houses, surrounded by walls and guard towers, where the signs of its history and continuous conquests are still visible.
